Warwick to Avebury

My apologies for the blog last night we are now in Avebury and they have no phone or wi fi excepted at theRedLion pub which we are at tonight.

Yesterday we visited Warwick Castle and Mill Gardens before leaving for Avebury. Magnificent Castle and so much history.

We came through Marborough on a toilet stop and decided because it was so close and shopping looked excellent we would visit today before going to Roude village to see caen hill locks - 29 lochs and had visions of JUdy and Robyn releasing those lochs. Omg.

Lunch was at limes farm yesterday -beautiful.

Came home and rested before pub. Will not hold up anyone tonight so will finish later on trip. We are in 400 yr old thatch cottage. A 8th man used to live in it and he joined the circus as a (freak). The cottage with me as 5.3rd person have to duck to get in so god help him but it is in the Church Grave Yard.
We had our own friendly ghost Elizabeth and now at pub we have florrie the ghost at the Red LIon.
