GREAT EXCITEMENT !

Big news from Doyle Avenue - at approx. 6.19p.m.

The SMS I received at work read:-

"Hi all. Emily just rolled over from back to tummy three times. So no fluke !. How exciting. Love Cameron and Kristy.

As you can imagine I am thrilled - and how wonderful that she waited till Cam came home from work as well
These shots I am including are the work of Tania Busch Easter Weekend.
Cam and Kristy walk Adventure Bay Beach with Emily.

Emily very intent as Mummy reads her a story. Kristy has been reading to Emily and as you can tell by the photo she takes a keen interest in books.

What an Angel she looks in this photo.

Somewhat startled in this shot.

The idea of my blog is to share with you all those special moments throughout Emily's life as well as my own children and their loved ones.
Here I too share some special moments with Emily at Bruny Island.

MY FIRST PROBUS OUTING

In February I joined Moonah Probus, and today set out on my first Bus Trip with the group. We left the Funeral Palour Carpark (dont laugh) not quite ready yet ! and headed down Channel via Woodbridge, Middleton where we enjoyed Morning Tea.

From there we travelled through past Verona Sands, Gordon, Cygnet and finally to our lunch stop which was the Franklin Tavern. Our host Con made sure are every need was met. We had a lovely hot lunch and then back on the bus shortly after 2.00 and proceeded to Geeveston Design Centre.

Jeanette found a few things to buy - and I was the odd one out and the comment was made did I have any money left. Certainly showed them I like to shop.

We stopped on the side of the road on the way home and because the Bus couldnt wind its way up the road to the Orchard - the Orchard came to us - the old Holden Ute was seen to speed down the hill with the back filled with apples. Once again Jeanette didnt disappoint.

Easter 2009

With the kind invitation of Jeremy and Tina Busch i accompanied Kristy, Cameron and Emily to Bruny Island for the Weekend

We were up early and caught the 8.45 Ferry to the Island - arriviing in time to catch Ellie, Will with a little help from Tina making and decorating a Birthday Cake for Jeremy's 36th Birthday.

Shortly after our arrival the boys headed out to catch the fish for Dinner on Good Friday. They didnt disappoint what a delight - fresh flathead expertly filleted by Jeremy (a legacy of his days at Jad's). Will very enthusiastically helped his Dad with the coating of the fish.

Saturday saw Jackie and Luke join us for the day - They had only arrived home from the overseas trip on Tuesday so we were able to hear a little of their travels - they travelled 9000 kl in their hired vehicle. They arrived in time to catch the boys before they headed to the water. The girls were left to go on a long walk.

Sunday saw the excitement of the Easter Bunny's trip to Bruny as well - with Ellie and Will enjoying their egg hunt in the garden as well as Chocolates the Easter Bunny left.

Spending time with Kristy and Cameron over the weekend afforded me the chance to catch a couple of snaps like this.
