Avebury to Lands End

It was with reluctance we bid farewell to our Thatched Cottage this morning but not before we took a video to share with you all.

Our first stop today was KIlva Court at Shepton Mallet for our Morning Coffee- another good choice.

Our aim was to go to Launceston for lunch and toilet stop. Firstly Launceston does not compare to ours and no spot to park so decided to aim for Bodmin.

We were only a few miles from Launceston when the traffic ground to a halt ands we were found to be sitting in a line of traffic for 1 hour and quarter while tow trucks, police, ambulance sped past. A driver in the cue told us last time he was caught for 5hrs. OMG and me with a full bladder. Joan suggested we play eye spy, and also spent the time working out stragic moves for masks ing temporary toilet on road side. Open doors, plastic bowls became part of the planning. Thank god the traffic started moving ands we were able to arrive at Lands End in thick mist at 5-45.

Unpacked and too eyed we shaded for the local pub for FOOD. Oh how beautiful was it - now for early bed.
