KRISTY TURNS 30!

On Sunday 1st August, 2010 Kristy reached to magic age of 30! A wonderful wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in - law.  Family joined Kristy for Breakfast at the Casino, and then later in the day she and Cam went to the Comedy Festival while Nanna Net got some quality time with Emily (or Emmy as she calls herself).  You can tell I am not complaining.
Each time you see her she has reached another stage - she is just so beautiful and has a mind like a sponge - she just absorbs so much.  She can tell you what everything is - and I am sure be a accompanished artist.  For someone not 20 months old yet she does beautiful drawings.

previously she had a breakfast of Pineapple
She just loves it.

Oh I do look cheeky.

Posted by PicasaI have just been shopping with my trolley Auntie Simone and Uncle Richard gave me. Nanna Anderson bought me a shopping bag to put my groceries in.

I can tell you what all my groceries are - carrots, brocoli, tomatoes, potatoes, pumpkin, bananas, oranges you name it I will tell you.

THEY ARE ENGAGED!!!!

Congratulations to Richard and Simone on the announcement today of their engagement. We are all thrilled with their news.

Apparently found it a little difficult to drink her take away coffee today - and insisted it was water - she was assured it was coffee and was then told well look and see and found the most beautiful ring.

Cameron, Kristy, Emily, Luke and Jackie are as pleased as I am - our only regret that they didnt announce it while in Tasmania last weekend - cause we could have celebrated with a Champagne.

Needless to say Mum is sitting having aquiet red and thinking of them tonight.

Congratulation I love you both.

TODAY'S THOUGHTS

Zillah Leura Bramich

21st December, 1913 - 5th July 2006

Four years have passed and today I reflect on her life as a Daughter, Wife, Mother, Nanna and Great Nan.

Nothing has changed since last year - a photo of Mum still sits in my kitchen watching over as I cook. I am sure she would not always agree with what I cook - but she would still be watching intently. I shall take her to my new home in a couple of weeks so she can share the joy and happiness I will find in living there as I have here at Bimbadeen Court.

This photo was taken on Mum's 90th Birthday.

A Mother's Farewell to her Children

When I must leave you for a little while,
please do not grieve and shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow to you through the years,
but start out bravely with a gallant smile
And for my sake and in my name,
live on and do all the things the same.
Feed not your lonliness on empty days,
but fill each waking hour in useful ways.
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer,
And I, in turn will comfort you and hold you near.
And never, never be afraid to die,
for I am waiting for you in the Sky.

YOU ARE NEVER FORGOTTEN MUM, WE ALL LOVE YOU.

OMG here we are having a laugh at the expense of the "waiter" at the Hot House on Bruny Island. The waiter ran - all day - waited a considerable time for our meal - but he did take our order and bring us water! He certainly kept us entertained while we W A I T E D!!

Two photos from Salmon Ponds.

What a name for a Motor Home - bet they dont know where they are going or which way !

2 X 60 YEARS

Russell and Jenny arrived in Tasmania in time to celebrate Tim's 50th - but whilst here Russell turned the big 60 on March 17th, so it was an opportunity when they came to Hobart to celebrate his day with 2 couples from their Motor Home Travels along with my family.

Jenny celebrates her birthday on the 22nd June and will travel to Cannon Valley to celebrate with Jayne. - they left the state in late April after 3 months.
Kristy, Cam, Luke and Jackie on the night of the dinner 27th March.

Here they are pictured in the Motor Home.

Many laughs were had in the time they were here in Hobart - they first came the week after Tims birthday and we surprized a friend at his Pizza Shop on the Friday night - then up early next morning and a trip to Bruny Island. One of my favourite places, and was please to introduce the spot to Jenny and Russell as they had never been there before. Sunday it was up and at it again and a trip to New Norfolk.

When they came in March it was the end of the week and I was unfortunately working, but we still were able to go out for a meal on Friday before the birthday celebrations on the Saturday - then the farewells as they travelled up to the East Coast and back to Sheffield.
